That sound even got 'Mr Jazz' here excited !
The kid seems a natural star ...

very nice indeed - that guy's got the knack for turning out great sounding pedals.
-
Just that gap of silence and then when he pushed the pedal on, bloody hell!
Probably costs a small mountain of cash though.
-
I love my Lovepedal 200lb of tone pedal.
That one sounds great too, good job it's out of stock or I would have whiped out the credit card 8)

Obviously the love child of Cyndi Lauper and 'Diamond' Dave Lee Roth. Didn't sell me the pedal but nearly converted me to the joys of fatherhood .. ( and that is a hard sell ). :)
-
It IS a very nice pedal for sure. However, it's a bit "American" sounding for my tastes, and personally, I'd like rather more tonal controls for sound sculpting.

I'm getting one - you'll be able to try it out when it arrives if you pass by
-
Sounds muddy to me, not enough hair and too much low mids.
Though after listening for a while... hmm, into the right amp... hmmmmm.

Sounds good to me! You KNOW I'll be passing sometime! It's a very convincing BS tone. I was wondering/hoping/praying that I may be able to tweak a brown sound from my amp and some VHII's on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

What a sweet kid.

Wow found yet another site. I really look for pedals that sound like amps have more of that natural sound. BTW if you guys write the Lovepedal dude he will make you a pedal
-
After watching that vid,you want the pedal,the little girl,the Floyd-guitar and..? :)

I don't know Viking ; because by that time I'd be feeling too smug and contented to even contemplate the question ....
-
The little girl's facial expressions had me laughing- the pedal aint bad either.

Of these three links these two and the provalve which one do you think sounds better?

They're all too different for me to compare them

For me,there is no contest here :)!The ProValve!Of course, the guitarist and the guitar itself have a lot to do with it,but,in the other vids (Radial Bones and Wampler Plexi..?),i can hear the things i dislike with most ss distortions (difficult to describe in English..but it's most noticeable when soloing.).When i use a distortion,i like to be able to dig in and it has to respond in a natural, musical way.If it's suddenly getting out of control and produces artificial-sounding"noise"(2 strings together, for ex.),i'm pissed :) So,i like it to be fluid, smooth, powerful ,producing nice harmonics when i dig in and able to handle everything(ex. "overloading")in a natural-musical-sounding way :D It looks like the ProValve would do it for me..Where can i find one ?

Write the guy at lovepedal other than that ebay he makes them 200 or so at a time
after studying the pedals and some other demos of the plextortion I have to say I think that it wins. There is a new compact version with 3 settings in it. It sounds killer lots of good tones in it.
I think I will upgrade
