Title: Pickups for my Musicman SUB1 guitar.

Hey guys!
I want to replace the pickups on my guitar. The sound is too 'thin' on the clean channel, and doesn't have enough bite and power when distorted.
I heard the Nailbombs on YouTube and I was amazed! the tone is flawless.

My gear- Guitar->boss GT10 with a Zvex Box of Metal hooked in->Rivera Clubster 25 tube amp.
Are there any other pickups that can get this hot lead sound? Do you think I can get the same type of tone using my gear?

Maple neck and poplar body from the google machine. I have no idea about those woods, sorry, but give Tim (@BKP) an email and he may have experience with it

Holy, i didn't expect that type of tone from Nailbombs... hmm, might have to try those in my next Les Paul-type!
