Is it just me? or, or...
GRR...
I've finally cracked over this...
Just took delivery of some nice new CDs.
Can I get into the bluddy plastic wrappers?!
It's nearly always the same... not always, but nearly...
It's the same with DVDs - but to a lesser extent, at least there you've got the bit where you can stick a finger in and get aggressive without damaging the box...
And then you get stickers - not in this case thankfully - I HATE stickers (except for the ones that come off easily without f*cking the item they are attached to)
B@ST@RDS!

... and ...
Relax...
Sigh... 8)

And also, I should have opened them all before posting. I was nice and relaxed, and then I tried to open the last two
All done now..

Yeah I always end up breaking cases. Luckily the bronx album I received today had no plastic wrap :D

You can buy this tool to help:

Or you can do it the free way:

Or you can use a big knife! I have managed to cut my index fingers 3 times in the past week though :?
I also hate it when the case cracks

yeah, those plastic wrappers are annoying. the worst is blank videos, when you're trying to get them opened before the program you want to record starts... race against time...

I can imagine you trying that with indiana jones theme music cranking
-
Sharp knife Andy. Keep calm so as not to cut fingers, your biggest asset apart from you know what and you don't want to cut that off. Large scotch. Stereo on...relax.
-
Try a bit of dynamite ( he he not too much now, you just want to get the wrapper off) easy peasy.
-
I worked in a Woolworths a few years ago, and LOVED peeling the wrappings off. All the cheap CDs/DVDs were gutted and the disks kept behind the desk, so i spent many a blissful sunday peeling polythene wrappers.

You could get a stone and bash the cd out.
Tried using a knife?

yeah, but we didn't have to bargain with cr@ppy tv companies messing with the schedules all the time...
-
I barely watch TV, I wouldnt know. Only have one because the landpeople I rent from put one in the house.
I'm sure a flint axe could open it without breaking it. Sharper than modern knives, I heard. Just get out in the garden and fnd a rock ;)
-
yeah, flint's sharp as hell... one molecule thick at certain points (i think), if you're any good at making them.

No - just a typical start to a weekend PDT_023

I sympathise, Andy.
I took delivery of Bucketheads Enter The Chicken just yesterday, and spent a silly amount of time trying to open the damn thing.
I'm sure that I remember them coming with little tags that made them easy to open, don't seem to do that anymore...
