I was wondering which pickups would be best for me.
i'm looking for a eric clapton with cream/bluesbreakers tone.

Single coils?
Humbuckers?

I'm assuming single coils.

What guitar do you have? What is it made of?

Amp?

its an epiphone g-400.
humbuckers. clapton used an sg and les paul in those days so not single coils.
its mahogany

the amp is a line 6 spider 3 and after a lot of tinkering i've got a good tone out of it but the stock pick-ups are to bright and just don't get the thick paf sound
