Title: Any one know about Micheal Kelly guitars.
Post by: jibidy on March 22, 2009, 01:03:47 PM
I've been looking to get something like a Les Paul that not expensive but good value for money.

Michael Kelly patriots look rather smashing!

Any one got a reason to get something else or experience with these.

I probably wont bother with finding any japanese used bad boys, i'de like to just buy a brand new guitar from a shop(online probs)

Unless anyone really thinks I should, I know many people favour the Burny, greco stuff and japanese tokais or epiphones.

I wanna put MQ's in it.

Well, I do like the Japanese stuff in general and Tokai guitars in particular - I have a medium to high end love rock that leaves all my other guitars in the dust for sound and playability. Having said that I doubt that there is much in the tokai range at that price point that is going to compete - if these guitars are as well put together as the Total Guitar review says then they could be a really good buy.

The other thing to consider is with Tokai's is that the hardware isn't always that great - these already come with grover and tonepros parts.

If you do get one or try one I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on them!

Sounds good. They look quite promising
