Title: Retro-fitting BKP's to Telecaster with boost circuit?

I absolutely love my Blade Telecaster, but the pickups are really noisey at load volumes. I know this is the nature of the beast with SC's, but I want to retrofit BKP's to improve it. However, it has a VSC active boost circuit. Does that mean I cannot do it?
