i've just been playing with the double adjustment on the dirty fingers, i'm surprised at the useful EQ variation it gives, as well as looking more agressive
i've set the bridge to be a little on the bright side, and the neck to be more even more neck-like
cool :)
what are other peoples experiences with the double screw pole thing?

I've been saying this for YEARS. All my bridges are double screw pole, even the ones that arent supposed to be. Welcome to the club ;) (Of two  )

i like them but i rarely play about with them for long because it tends to be something players do themselves

I agree. Thought you had another pair of Dirty Fingers before to play with?
I find the neck quite happy as it is though, great sound.

I've had a double screw coil Nailbomb for about 4 years. I had used a couple of SD Holdsworths and asked Tim about getting a pickup with 2 screw coils. He told me the effect would be that there would be more bass, however I find it is a little thicker too. I haven't repeated it because the regular BK's have given me the sound I wanted but if I was looking for something with a little more output I might do it (a double screw coil Cold Sweat might be interesting!).

It makes a lot less difference in the neck than the bridge. I dont bother with that.
