Title: Cosmetic help! (Which Mounting Rings?)
Post by: sebby123 on March 30, 2009, 05:09:34 AM
I Just bought a calibrated set of Aged Gold Cold Sweat's for my Les paul im debating what pickup mounting rings i should put on there im getting bored of the Cream ones I love Tim's on his LP with the Wood and gold but i cant find any like that out there any suggestions?
Apologise for the huge cheesey pic i didnt have any other that showed the P-ups and mounting rings on my guitar.

the cream isn't a good look.. i'd go for black, but see what you mean about gold:

i guess you'll want a curved set on a paul... others will correct me if thats not the case

My only debate about gold is that i have aged golded pickups coming in soon so that might look a little wierd no?

the contrast might be quite nice...

or go for a gold bridge surround, and a black neck surround, to match your odd control knobs
