I am sending my Miracle Man equipped guitar into the shop to have it re-soldered, I was thinking about getting them to put in a pull pot for both the neck and bridge, any opinions/facts I should consider here?
Its been a while since I had a split on a guitar is it on the volume or tone? if it's the volume then would it be worth splitting both neck and bridge?
As always, any input would be great.
Phil.

You can wire the push pull on either or both. Depends whether you want to be able to split them independently or just have a single push pull to split both at the same time. As for whether to put the push/pull on the vol or tone is entirely up to you.

Cheers, the guitar I have is a Ibanez sz320, it only has one tone so maybe I should use that so I can split both pickups when needed.

if you don't use tone (who does, except jazz players?) (unless you bought MMs to play jazz... ;)) you could use a miniswitch in place of the knob... it's cooler and adds presence.

Yes, my love of playing jazz inspired my MM purchase!!!
Seriously though, let me get this, the 2 volume controls would be unchanged and the new toggle switch (I am assuming 2 way?) would spilt the pickups depending which one was selected, is this right, if so that sounds like a good option.

exactly! it's the simplest way to go... 2 way switch: split/full.

FWIW my MM neck pickup sounds great for jazz.

Taff ^I have been very suprised since I have owned the MM set at just how vesatile they are, I admit that I got them for screaming lead metal type stuff but I really think that they clean up well in both positions.

Hey I'm planning on getting myself some MM's, and I play a lot of single coil stuff too, please report back eand tell us how it sounds!? :D Or maybe some of the other guys/gals tried it?
I would recommend the switch instead of tone pot too, in my experience it makes a lot of difference in the high end (too bad that was a Super Distortion and it started the ice-pick sound, but with a non-uberharsh pickup you should be fine).
By the way, would I be right in thinking that the MM would be very clear and quite bright but with a full midrange and low end when playing clean?

I spoke to someone at BK today and it was said that it would be more than adequate to use pull pots and also the MM will split really well because of its high output, I will let you know in a week or so.
