I'm off to that there London early the following morning so as much as I'd like to come and heckle...
-
Essex is a wee bit too far Dave, but I'm sure that I'll hear you from here...
Mark.
-
I would but too far. Do a UK tour and come dahn sarf.
-
It was Shobet and Matt77 etc I was thinking of, in case they were at a loose end ;)
If our singer was more into it, we'd play a) more often and b) more venues!
-
I'll drop in about 9
-
Cheers Matt - thanks for coming down :)
Although you cursed me with your question about tuning  Never had that happen before, I think my 'G' was slipping on the post. Pants!
-
stockport was a bit out the way for me but I'm curious to how well you sit in the mix twinfan with all those guitars and tone hunting
-

Sorry for the curse!
Nobody wants a slippy G string on a Saturday night.
Sound was really good and if the SG did slip out of tune it was only minor and short term.
My girlfriend was particularly pleased that the drunk guy in the England shirt acted as your band's very own dancing Bez.
ANGUS!
-
Thanks Matt, you're too kind :)
Tha Dancing Bez was quality, and he may appear on YouTube at some point ;)
JDC - I had a few people comment on my sound, with them saying it's "spot on" for Angus. Can't say fairier than that I guess. Mind you, it should be spot on after perfecting it for 3 years!
What did you reckon Matt - did it cut through OK and sound Angus-y enough?
-
It cut through fine from where I was.
The sound was indeed very Angus-y, as was the playing.
I was very impressed with the singer as well, he obviously has the 'Bon' gene somewhere

I can think of a lot of people who would like a slippery G-string on a Saturday night (or any other night) PDT_008
-
^ indeed
Cheers Matt. Our singer does it for a living, along with running a band booking agency, so he knows his stuff. Shame he doesn't know the words half the time, or how some of the songs are arranged
