Hi Tim
I saw Rooster at the Manchester Apollo this weekend. What has Luke got in his red 335 it was the best live guitar sound I've heard all the 20 years I've been going to gigs. The single note riffs were massive, the distorted chords had a clarity I didn't think possible from out of a PA, the edgy volume wound down town was sweet and the lead tone WOW. The two LP's he used were pretty good especially the clarity of the drop D gold top and the lead sound of the standard tune one but that 335!!
Do you know what amps he's using? I've seen photo's of him with Boogies and with a Marshal/AC30 mix. From where I was, at the back, away from the screaming under 12's (I'm sure I trod on some on the way to the bar) it looked like he had a pair of Hiwatts?
Cheers Sean
PS Cornford Mk50 mark 2 out soon. Time to wave the credit card

I recently got their CD, and I was well impressed. Just a good, solid, rock album. Excellent and refreshing. :D

They use BKPs too!

Lets see if Cornford can get it right this time

Luke has Mules and Abraxas humuckers but I'm not sure what is in what.
