Title: Hell yeah.... new cab day!!!!! Pics added.....
Post by: d1dsj on April 15, 2009, 08:29:16 AM: At long last.... I've been after a Cornford Richie Kotzen 4 x 12 for SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long and I finally bagged one yesterday for a bargain price. Too tired last night to check it out with my amp as it was a 280mile round trip to collect it, left my house at 6pm and got back at 10.20 so not too bad but I was just so tired. Can't wait to try it... it should look awesome being black with a salt and pepper style grille, the amp is white with black grille! Now I'll sell my vintage Orange 4 x 12 with G12 30s..... anyone interested?

I had a Cornford oxblood 4 x 12 and sold it with my older black chassis MK50 a few months back to a good mate. Now that cab was awesome, speakers (V30's) and been broken in and as long as the vol was up a bit lost any hint of harshness. This cab I thought was the same except for the covering and jack plate... NO. More bottom end for sure and the highs are sweet.... mids are a given ... it's a Cornford amp! Still pine but it's quite a bit heavier? Whatever... I'm not really interested in the science, I just can't wait to gig it! Again, thanks for the kind words.
