Title: What are your favorite posts ?
Post by: Dr. Vic on April 16, 2009, 12:22:14 AM
It's very nice to share some points of views on this great place, full of so interresting but also funny posts...

if you have seen any post that you found epic, put it here !

As for me, here are my favorites ones :

the PK melts faces & fries small animals

wouldn't the painkiller be too cold? low output & 80's metal sound?

the painkiller has 16k, 3 huge ceramic magnets and has enough mids to drive even a fender amp
if that's not hot enough for you, then you should play a flamethrower
:D

think the holy diver is arnold schwarzenegger (the man)
the painkiller is the terminator (the machine)

think the Nailbomb as a Ninja
it doesn't play by the rules
dirty, fast and deadly sharp
it can rip your throat before you even see it comin'
but can also be quiet and smooth

the Holy Diver is a Samurai
righteous, stronger, educated, but still highly mortal
powerful, but with finesse
will be brutal on the necessary circumstances  :x

Ahh, this is slightly unrelated, but not enough to warrant a new thread. Has anyone ever tried a warpig with chrome covers?

I have a chrome C-Pig.
Theres nothing to tell. Its a C-Pig thats chrome.

The sounds you want are, I think, achievable and even well, with a PK.

Its dynamic, precise (as hell), middy (as hell on an hellish day), tight (as hell the first day back at work after halloween), articulate (as martin luthor king after having a dictionary injected into his brain), fat (as a mcdonalds adict on a burger bender) and generally, in character, up your street. BUT the power of it has to be taken into acount: It hits hard (as Mike Tyson on a quiet night in with his wife) and is indeed explosive (as the proverbial fat man).

$%&#ign Hails Guys

Warpig - Ultra super Hyper Mega Output. Its like a girl screaming just after XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAhaahAhaHAhahahahahahaH

No this one I can't put in there, it's forbidden

And finally the last one, a killer  !

The MM is tight like a constipated rabbit.

Thank you guys for those great moments !

Being a confirmed tele-lover myself, some tele-lovers might feel that I'm being a little disloyal here...

but I do actually look forward to Roo's contributions on the subject :D

Nope, if he ever shows signs of slowing down someone posts another thread about Tele's :) It's called Roo Baiting, it's fun and surprisingly easy to play

I always find it funny when 38th comments on the carpet before the guitar in new guitar day threads for some reason
