Title: Tokia P90 3 wire

Have 2 3 wire tokai p90's marked  BHK has red, white and bare wire....
A any good(worth trying)
B how do I wire these

Measure resistance between the bare wire and the two other coloured wires - one will likely be in the 5k range, the other maybe around 8k.  Sounds like a coil tapped P90.

appears one has to be conncted to the bare wire to give reading( doesn't matter either red or white gives same)

i think that suggests it is a shielded coil
