Very happy with the overall sound in the room, and I hope you can make out why from some of these clips!
Setup:
Black Dog Bridge pickup in
Wez Vociferator multiscale (28" bass, 26.5" treble) with Maple-Bubinga-Wenge-Bubinga-Maple neck-through, Bubinga Wings, Wenge top and Ebony fretboard through
Bodenhamer Bloody Murder set as a clean boost/tubescreamer into
Peavey 5150-II with ISP Decimator ProRackG before and in loop then into
EVM12L-Black label (miked up) + G12K100 (2 of each x pattern in 4x12) and Celestion 15" bass speakers and 8"Wharfedale bass speakers in another cab.
Cleartone Cables.
Hope you enjoy these!

Aaaaand another. Was stood very close to my amp here, so struggled on a couple of occasions with feedback after stopped notes.

One more just for fun.

Sounds pretty filthy :) The vocals arent really my thing but I'm liking the riffage and tone.
-
tone is missing that 'extra' the bulbous bit provides. something like a telecaster would help you get the typical br00talz 'twang'
(actually really like the tone you get from the wezv - you can hear the string tension is right)

Thats some nice clear growly tone you got there.

Menno, I wanted to say exactly that!
:O)
But cool tones, pretty nice recording, too!

And I always thought it was all a "front" ("hardcore just got harder" etc...)
That is a fairly, er, brutal sound - don't think you'd get that out of any of my teles!
I've never managed to get into this type of music (especially this sort of vocals), but that's a great tone coming out of the old vociferator there :D
By the way, who is the nice educated and well-spoken young man introducing the songs? (it's a bit of a shock when he moves seamlessly from oxbridge to "spawn of satan" and back again )

Heavy!
For some reason I always thought your band would sound somewhat like Brad Paisley!?

its official, Roo's passion for telecasters has grown to the point where we must spam all his threads with tele goodness
-
I hope you've noticed the folk who haven't spammed you Roo :D
I was listening to the actual tones in question 8)
(Actually though, I felt that gwem had made the best "tele" comment, and I couldn't top it, so I didn't even try )

What is it you want, Andy? :P

I'll be posting my latest offering soon(-ish)... when I've got a vocal I like...
...and, you see, it's somewhat dripping in telecasters.
- I'm just endeavouring to ensure that potential listeners are, er, suitably "open minded" towards this aspect of it... (or, if this isn't possible, that they feel slightly obligated to "see" past what a telecaster looks like).
And I agree with Wez - is there video footage?

Working on that one, Wez!
