Title: Noisettes : customers doing well for themselves
Post by: FELINEGUITARS on April 21, 2009, 11:12:24 PM
I'm really pleased to see my friend Dan  Smith and his band the Noisettes doing well in tghe charts and on the TV
Dan has been a customer/friend for about 11 years and is a great guitarist
Band has been through a couple of changes over the years but they have stuck at it
Nice that their hard work is paying off

No Dan doesn't have one of mine
He is really into a lot of off the wall guitars and old stuff that you seem to find in USA Pawnshops
Although he seems to be playong a Gibson in the videos
We do however do a fair bit of repair work and stuff for him

I just dead pleased for him and the band that they are doing well

I thought they were great on the Jools Holland program. I like some of those designs that Mosright or Eastwood do.
The singers really nice too, plus she can actually sing and play bass!

haven't watched the Jools show yet, sky+'d it.  i saw them a few years ago when they supported Muse and thoroughly enjoyed them, so got their singles and then their first album.  felt they had a few duff tracks, but a few fantastic ones.  and i have a 7" that's got the singer's lipstick all over it! :)

second album, i've only listened to it once.  sounds a lot more polished, lost a bit of their quirkiness and energy, but still very good.  i'm also very glad to see them doing so well, and long may it last.
