Just when I thought I'd heard everything ...

I think that this pedal will sound very good beside my Thundertomate. :)

Sounds very good! :D

Sounds good. Very usefull tones in there.
Hopefully there will be a clone kit coming for a more crisis friendly price.

Funny you should mention price, Ratrod; I thought Pro Guitar Shop's price was quite reasonable. It's certainly cheaper than the Thundertomate by a country mile!! (Though it is also a very different animal from the 'tomate)
-
Good Brian MAy kind of tone in there
-
I think the price is decent enough but a DIY clone can save the DIY-er more than half.
The BOR clone I made only cost me about 70 Euro all-in.

Sounds good! I've never owned a distortion pedal... I'm getting tempted though by all of these videos folk are posting recently.

Oxblood has been ordered and is on it's way!

indy, depending on the application, a boost/fuzz/overdrive/distortion pedal can add a whole host of new tones to your rig, especially if you turn down your amp's gain and use the pedal as a preamp.
For metal, I still prefer valve distortion, but for other things where more tonal variation is needed, a good boost pedal is invaluable.

Ordered from ProGuitarShop.com less than 48 hours ago, and here it is, at my doorstep! :)
Of course, I decided to not bring a guitar to work today, and am now regretting it. Thus, I can only comment on the fit and finish of the pedal at this point in time:
The chassis has a brilliant sparkle finish. Pots are very tactile and resistive -- perfect for fine-tuned dialing and staying put after you chuck the pedal in a gig bag.
The pedal is of medium-heavy weight. Definitely heavier than any other overdrive/boost I've owned, but not into the crazy old Ibanez analog delay/Vox wah territory.
The hand painted diamond design is ... well, awful lol. But unique. I wish that the cat on the rear panel was on the face of the unit!
Inside reveals a bread board-ish pcb and a LOT of components.
Input and output jacks appear to be of industrial strength.
