Allrighty, Tim chrome covered my trusty Rebel Yells, and I just put them in. First with vintage wiring, but was too fizzy, so I changed to modern wiring.
The recording is all direct Axe FX.
But do check beyond 2:11 because for the second part of the song I added the VHT/Bogner combo (otherwise no feedback for that famous bit, righty) - and either my playing changed or the response between speakers and pickups does something special, I think the second half from the feedback on sounds so much more alive and fat ... strange, because recording wise it's 100% the same direct Axe FX setup as in the first half.
