Title: How to differenciate bridge and neck painkillers
Post by: Raysus on May 11, 2009, 08:11:26 PM
Hey guys,

I just bought a Painkiller set used and don't know which one is the bridge and neck.  They are covered and one seems to be deeper than the other, as it doesn't fit all the way through the cover.  Would that indicate which one it is?  I guess I could also measure the resistance, but don't know how.  I have a multimeter, but I'd just need some help knowing what wires I need to touch to get the DC resistance.  Let me know what you think would give me a good idea, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Set your multimeter to the 20kohm range, and touch the probes to the red and the black wires, with the green and white twisted together. The bridge should be higher than the bridge.

Hope that helps!
