Thats because its a cross between a tuner and the starship $%&#ing enterprise.

No problems with mine, once you get used to the sensitivity it's a breeze. Also, I've noticed how much better dual lead tracks ala Thin Lizzy sound since in I've been tuning my bandmates guitar too!

Yeah, I wonder how thin lizzy managed without one ;)

That, however hunter, is the ONLY thing I've ever seen that compels me in the least to get an iphone!

for setting up a trans-trem, i suggest a stomp box tuner ;) but this is one way to get quickly used to a strobe tuner

I have  Peterson Strobstomp 2 and once you get used to its obviously great for tuning, but particularly good for doing the intonation. My guitars definitely benefited and sound better.

I have the Peterson stroborack and it's good (if a bit twitchy)

the turbo tuner is good as well
I still like my boss pedal one for tuning up to play

i have a turbo tuner.
i prefer it to the TU-2.
its fast and accurate and easy to use and more compact than a strobostomp and its built like a tank.

wow a few hours after sending them an email I got a reply. They are sending me a brand new replacement unit and are paying for the shipping, I'll be sending my old one to them so they can see what went wrong and they are covering the shipping cost of that too!

Amazing customer service!

took the plunge today and bought a Strobostomp 2 - just what I wanted to get the Buzz Feiten tuning system working right on my MSG. Thank you again for all your contributions.
