Title: NGD! Edwards LPC

Nipped through to Edinburgh on Sunday, met Pierre (swell chap with swell chops to boot!) had some good banter and gave him some pennies and he gave me a guitar.

Riff Raff bridge and a Duncan 59 neck. It's to be my dedicated Doom guitar, it's now tuned to C with 12-56 but that'll likely change to 13-59 (I didn't have any sets sitting about and shops had none in stock) thoroughly enjoying the riff raff so far but first time I'll get it really wound up will be thursday, so we'll see how I get on. I think I fancy a Mississippi Queen for the neck.

That is a very nice LP! Love the look of it. I've never actually played an Edwards LP, they look like real good quality instruments.

I'm not far from Edinburgh myself (Fife).

Yeah Glasgow's the business, I lived here a couple years ago, lived in a few cities before and since, i hindsight I never should have left here. I love it.

I'm glad it went to 1) one hell of a player 2) a MELODIC player (and not a Cannibal Corpse clone  :lol:) and 3) overall a cool guy. Thanks for the kind words and maye she serve you for a long time! Which of course she will. I see you put the gold hardware back on too!  8)

Yeah, I'm actually tempted to stick the bridge it had back on and leave the tailpiece gold, I like stuff looking modded  :lol:

more glasgow peeps on the board than i thought! Tis a super nice guitar, i'm in a white phase right now, almost all of my guitar are white.
