Title: rifftracker and any other recording/mixing software
Post by: Miracle Man Matt on October 21, 2005, 05:08:35 PM
Ive just installed the Line 6 rifftracker and I have to say Im quite impressed, unfortunately its on my personal computer which isn't connected to the internet yet so I cant use the recording/drummer program  :(   it tells me I need an authorisation key but I havn't got one. soooo.

does anyone have one of these key's and...

does anyone have any slightly more advanced software that is fairly easy to use that they could send me..... so far i havn't worked out how Im gonna get a bass track on it, Is there any software that will do this sort of thing without me having to buy a bass?

thanks

MMM

Usually you get the key with the software...or it may need downloading, they're all different these authentication systems!

As to bass stuff - there is Bass on Demand from the same people who do drums on demand.

But without the internet these things are hard!

you need to get online with it, and use the public tone exchange.. you can search for user + official patches and stuff.

N-track + Audacity are both free and good for recording, i record on Audacity via the guitar port, get the drums\bass from midi files and mix on N-track (then delete the cr@ppy song i just made :( )
