had it since tuesday.


hands down beats any guitar I have ever owned for tone, playability and sheer awesomeness. This beat every other Gibson, PRS, Fender and Ibanez in the shop.

I have got a White Epiphone one in bits at home (which reminds me, if anyone does have any Epi bridge hardware then I'll buy it off them). Gunna get that fixed up to use as a second guitar (the Explorer is getting a bit touchy for playing live).

what is it? tokai? gibson? I can't read the headstock :lol: Not that it matters, i don't care what the headstock says, just if it's a nice guitar, but it's nice to know :D EDIT: nice guitar by the way. I try not to try SGs too often, because every time I do I get GAS, and I have enough twin humbucker guitars... :lol:

Whats wrong with the Explorer? I thought it was ok apart from all the feedback.. or is that the blackstar pedal?

the blackstar is the cause of the feedback, its a little too much atm and I need to back it off a little.

the Explorer is just a bit brittle.

That looks almost identical to the one we bought last year :) Awsome guitar.
