Title: Rebel Yells on breaking up Dumble patch - "Sober" intro
Post by: hunter on May 28, 2009, 08:18:35 PM
A new guy on the Axe Forum posted some dry breaking up amp patches - and they are just so much fun! And when I noodled on the Dumble one earlier on, Sober just sprang to my mind, so did a little clip (mainly for myself to be able to listen to the sound without playing - more neutral ear etc).

The only change in setting is that I switch the pickup from middle to bridge for the strum part, the rest is pure playing dynamics.

Oh I think I mixed up major and minor on one chord

Thanks Doc :O)

I am also very happy how well they work in the PRS. I really like the sizzle they give on top, so I can have a very open/cutting sound like here, or if I like, I can add more mids and have them fat, without being undefined.

Still wondering if I should get another PRS to try some Mules in it. But then since TwinFan has started to swipe the market, they have become rather rare LOL
