Got a package in the mail from today. Holy Diver with satin black cover and black allen screws. It will go in my Caparison Horus on Saturday. Get wait to get it in there. Here are come pics. I will post my impressions after the install as well. As for looks, it looks awesome.

Oh, I have one of those in Raw Nickel with allen bolts as well. You're in for a great time.

Yeah I guess they ran out of the humbucker cards.

Well I got it in today and it sounds great. Very thick sounding and tight at the same time. No muddyness at all. I think it is the perfect match for the guitar. It's also very versatile. Great cleans, great 80's metal tone and even tight and articulate enough to pull off modern technical stuff. Thanks for the recommendation Nick :metal:

I love how it sounds fat and smooth, but clear, open and tight at the same time
the lead tone is unbelievable
nice finish, btw!

That's the Holydiver for you. The only way to get mud out of it is to play the guitar facedown in a pool of it. BTW, you should try the split, it's kinda p-90ish instead of thin and papery.
P.S., You've treated the guitar to the HD, maybe you should treat yourself to a leather strap 8)
P.P.S, What's your guitar made of?

The guitar is mahogany. Don't like leather straps. Dimarzio clip locks are my strap of choice. I have a bunch of em.
