Title: What to do when someone doesn't pay for something on eBay

Someone hit buy it now on my PRS on ebay, someone with 0 feedback but had his account for a long while and was a genuine person and told me he'd be paying me on monday, now it turns out he hasn't got the cash at all, not even nearly.

Go figure.

So, what do I do now?

This is... most frustrating...

open a resolution using the resolution centre

then after a certain amount of time the sale can be cancelled

If you open a dispute/resolution and say you've "mutually agreed" to cancel the sale, they'll contact the buyer, get him to confirm that's OK, and they'll refund the Final Value Fee.  The whole thing should be sorted out pretty quickly.

Might be worth contacting him first to say that's what you're going to do, and since he's messed you about you'd appreciate his prompt co-operation.

Last time this happened to me, I ended up selling the guitar for more money on the second attempt.  So you never know, could be a blessing in disguise.  :)

looks like someone bought it straight after I was speaking to you about 1am. Told you you should have grabbed it!
