This is my squier strat that I recently equiped with a mississippi Queen in the bridge position. Its straight into my marshall dsl100 and recorded with a sm57. It sounds much better through my jcm800 4104 but i couldn't be bothered lugging it up two flights of stairs so the dsl had to do. The bass is done using a cheap squier jazz bass also through the dsl100.
I previously had a holydiver in the bridge of this strat but i fancied something abit more vintage sounding for early sabbath type tones and the mq is perfect.
Hope you like

Agreed - sounds pretty early-Sabbathy to me.

Cool :D
I have to admit, the first thing I did with my MQs when I put them in an Epi SG last year was all the Black Sabbath riffs I could think of
They do early Tony Iommi really well.
Nice song idea, by the way :D

Sounds amazing!!!!

Cheers guys, I am proper loving the MQ, although I also love the Holydiver I replaced it with. So I suppose that means I've got an excuse to save up for a new guitar now :P I can't wait to try the mq with my amp cranked now.

Awesome tone and I like the stuff you were playing :)
P90s are probably my favourite pickups at the minute. You need to try a Pig 90, its just brutal.

I wouldn't have expect those MQ to sound so Pig-ish ! Very nice sabbath-ish taste !
I understand why I've seen somewhere here that the MQ - WP is a good combo !

Nice to hear what what my M.Qs get up to after midnight ... :)

Nice
