Title says it all. I knew Bareknuckle were good on listening to clips, and the reccomendations I recieved.
... but absolutely nothing could have prepared me for how good my guitar now sounds  I am absolutely amazed at the clarity and just pure...CREAM (for lack of a better sonic term ) in these pickups!
I'll post clips or a video sometime in the next few days when I've really broken them in and know them a little better, but I have, a Coldsweat bridge, a Missisipi Queen p90 in the middle, and a Riff Raff in the neck, of my Epiphone Les Paul Custom (3pickup).
Holy seriousness this sounds good !
little mini reviews of my impressions so far...
Cold Sweat: Absolutely screams...beautifully.
Missisipi Queen: Sharp in the nicest way possible, I can get stratty tones out of this thing !
Riff Raff: Total classic rock leads, this is absolutely the tone I've been after in the neck of my guitar since I started playing, it's just pure Slash/Page creamyness !
Best £300 or so, I have *ever* spent :D
updated with clips!...forgive my horrible webcam mic...it seems to click or something:...check my next post for the rest, cant upload them all at once...

That's a very interesting pickup choice and the first three pickup guitar fitted with BKPs I've heard of.
Seems like you can cover a lot of tones with these three pickups.
What kind of Mississippi Queen do you have? A bridge version?

:D

Mr.Air - Tim reccomended going for a neck MQ for the middle position to remain hot enough to switch from the Riff Raff and Cold Sweat, I wasn't going to question him :D
So I caved and just recorded clips immediately
I'll get them uploaded as soon as I can convert to mp3...

Ain't it wonderful when things just work out? PDT_002
That's what has happened with both of my BKP purchases (actually, there's a third guitar but it's not finished yet). I just laid down my strat and it once again had brought a smile on my face. They're just very responsive, expressive and seem like they were made for this guitar. It sounds like what I expect an strat to do, and it can do a LOT. From subtlety to aggression, they've got it all.
Back to the topic, you just gotta love the P90's. They're perfect for your gritty, no-nonsence rock, and all sorts of blues. Thick, but raw with that single coil edge. Pitty about the webcam clips, but I can hear you're having fun :D And the do sound very nice, it shows even through that.

Sounds good! What's the rig?
-
Thanks for the comments :).
My rig...if you could call it that ...is just my guitar plugged straight into my Zoom Fire 30 watt practice amp. I used to have a PodXtlive in the mix, but the power cable got lost, I'm currently in the process of getting a new cable for it though.
But yeah, as I'm sure you've guessed, the recordings don't do it justice at all, the mic is horrible lol. But I'm hopefully in the market for a new amp within the coming months too !

I love the cell phone signal interference on the riff raff clean clip

 I was waiting for someone to mention that, I was going to re-record but then I thought it'd be funnier this way.

Wow, love the MQ clean clip. That just sounds perfect for Yellow Ledbetter. It's in the middle position you say? Any pictures of the guitar?

Thanks, dude :)
Yeah, that's such a great tone for that tune! You should hear it soooaar on the solo!
Ammm...there's no pics yet with the Bareknuckles in, but I got the same gold covers as I had before, so it still looks pretty much the same, but a little shinier :P
