Title: i seek your opinions!

I have a sims custom shop rg style body at home, totally nekkid, swamp ash (it weighs nothing!) black binding and a rather lovely bidseye/ ebony neck to match.

question number one is how do i finish it? I'm thinking a honeyburst sorta vibe, to soften the mean-ness of the guitars shape and show-off the binding

question number two, anyone have any experience with the bkp 7's?

sadly i can't upload an image cos i can only get online from work at the mo'

As far as BKP 7's go, i have the Nailbomb7 bridge and neck in an Ibanez RG7321, they nail all kinds of rock and metal, i asked Tim for the John Petrucci tone, and he recommended the Nailbombs

related question (so i just tagged it on here)

the foam padding that lives inside the top-side floyd cavity...anyone know its proper name, or where i can get it, or if i can use any old foam?

Dunno. It also goes by gunstock oil, it may be easier to find if you have an alternative name for it.
