I was really looking forward to watching the DVD of the guitars , amps and effects. It all started well with Mick Taylor, who I think is very good, playing some nice stuff on a Strat. After the intro I was all set up for some quality time watching a quality player showing you lots of guitars and amps. It then went south pretty quickly when Simon Bradley came gurning on to the screen with his usual generic, not very impressive, chord playing that doesn't really give you any useful insight into what different guitars/amps sound like (I could o better and I'm not great!). It's been said many times, and I'll say it again, I really don't understand why a magazine with such great players available constantly puts Bradley on the demo CD's. Very, very annoying :x

I must admit I had the same thoughts as Will. Bradders, bless him, does put me off a bit. I am sure he is a really nice bloke but I don't think he gets the best out of the gear. Mick Taylor however plays some tasteful stuff. I liked Neville's bit too.

2 hours drying the mag on the radiator....
I could never read in the bath, too fussy about getting the paper damp. And I have to take my glasses off so I can't see a thing anyway.

Philly Philly, more and more I come to think you must be the Ueber German, or Ueber Swiss. Haha, you're so in order, and i am German and such a mess, quite funny.
Well sure thing is though, I would buy gear from you any day :P
I agree with what's been said about Bradley. His tone is thin, his playing is without feel, his belly is huge. As a result he looks bad and sounds bad. I would be pissed off as a manufacturer of great gear if he would be demoing it.
Indeed the other guy's got great stuff coming from his fingers and ears!

Well, I'm not that in order, my house is an absolute shambles. But only because I have so much (well-looked-after) stuff and paperwork (have to keep paperwork!)... I don't have enough space and I lost control. :(
I do look pretty Germanic I guess.
