I'm considering putting Riff Raffs in my SG (not entirely unrelated to recently seeing AC/DC ...).
It currently houses a pair of Alnico Warpigs, which I don't want to get rid of ... so I would have to move them into my PRS SC. Anyone have any idea how they would sound in such a home? Its a pretty hefty lump of Mahogony but does have a fairly thick maple cap, I am a bit worried about them being a bit too dark compared to the SG, where I love their tone. Mainly play metal and industrial stuff with the Pigs (Metallica / Ministry / RATM / Sabbath &c...).
Anyone have any experience with Alnico Pigs in a PRS or similar? Had a poke around but the pigs seem to mainly live in SG's and Superstrats. Maybe I should just put the RR in the PRS ...

Put the pigs in the PRS. I have a friend with AV warpigs in his (maple-topped mahogany), the sound is thick and substantial, not even close to being too dark. The maple balances things out a lot.

Ta, the thick sound is what I like from the WP! At the end of the day the RR will work in the PRS too I'm sure, so I can always swap them round if I don't like it I suppose. My only regret is that I had my heart set on a Cold Sweat for the PRS, but the Riff Raffed SG is calling ... need more guitars!! ...
