This is probably more of a question for Tim, but someone might know:
Is it possible to get a double screw pole humbucker, covered, with 53mm spacing?
I know you can get the Warpig with 53mm spacing, but I'm thinking of a regular chrome/nickel cover.

Is this what you want Philly? it is a Warpig with a raw nickel cover (and matching MQ). Not sure of the spacing though as it's something I never worry about.

That's the kind of thing, Phil, but probably in polished chrome if it's available.
I'm normally not too bothered about string spacing but this guitar will have a hardtail Strat bridge with 55-56mm spacing, so the pickup really needs to be 53mm.
(That setup looks great on your Explorer, by the way! :D )

my experience with custom covers is a mixed bag...
i love the look of EVERY set i own, but some of them came very different from what i specified in the "other requests" box... i had some specific requirements for one of them
( http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=16472.0 ) and emailed tim before ordering, to know if it was possible to get something like that, and provided a pic of a similar cover... the result is EXACTLY what i had in mind.
i suggest you to do the same if you need a completely different cover for your WP

I only want polished chrome, so it should be a pretty simple "yes we can" or "no we can't", but I will check with Tim when it's time to order.
Don't even know which pickup it will be yet (not a WP! :) ).

I've even seen them in gold.
