its easy to get the neck plate, screws and bolt - fender reissued those and they're all over ebay.
what i'm talking about is the circular threaded washer that fits on the neck heel and in the neck pocket.
is it the same part that fits in the heel and pocket, or slightly different?

ask Feline - I'd wager it's something he'll have (or can get hold of)

thanks wez, thats great! the page has the fender part numbers on, so a quick google on those may reveal sources in the uk (i hope!) if not, i'll just import them :)
there is definitely a plan coming together. i'm not so sure now the exact details of it. but put it this way, after the success of your strat i fancy another fender.
by the way, i've attached one of the picks you sent me to the back of the headstock..

I wouldn't hesitate to order from Guitar Parts Resource - prices are pretty good, they're very reliable, you can pay by PayPal and [whisper]they usually put a low value on the Customs declaration[/whisper].

i have used them for loads of bits in the past - always reliable

:D Good stuff!
It's just a shame the exchange rate is so bad, I was buying loads of parts from them a year or so ago. I've noticed their prices have gone up a bit recently too.
