Title: Speaker experts!

I've got a pair of g1200t hots in my Martamp 2x12". I think it's time to change them for something a bit rounder and less 'hard' on the top end (if that makes sense). Greenbacks are an obvious choice but any others?

Celestion Blues or Golds.

But you'll need VERY deep pockets  :(

My pockets are huge, but sadly, theirs nothing in them at the moment :(

They're the best the though, you just have to pay through the nose for them.

Greenbacks are second best for reasonable money  :)

Eminence Cannabis rex are supposed to be round, not heard them but they are pretty cheap.

I've got a few speakers here doing nothing that might be of interest Lew...

* Creamback G12Ms with 55Hz bass cones - creamy tone with just enough cut, nice compression.
* H&H 50w - halfway between a V30 and G12T-75, a nice balanced speaker
* Goodmans 50w Power Range - good for brighter amps, quite a dark top end (suits AC30s etc...), best in open backed cabs.
