Just picked up a Laney Lionheart L20H with the matching cab today from a cool old hippy dude in South Wales who is an Aussie!  400 mile round trip well worth it, and the drive through the scenic countryside was excellent too, no hold ups at all.

Only had a chance to try for 20 minutes as I'm too knackered, but first impressions are awesome.  Amp and cab are like new.

One of the heritages in the cab has been replaced with an Alnico Gold, so I've got a spare heritage.  Juansolo may look after this for me in his Martamp 1x12.

Also saw a sign for a place called "Comin Coch" and didnt have a camera handy. Arse!

Nice rig!  Great speaker combination too - I'll have that in my 4x12 shortly  ;)

Do they work well together?

I love how that looks, so smart looking.

I had a Lionheart but didn't get on with it, i blame the speaker i had at the time... didn't think to change it, doh >.< I wish I had a Gold! lovely speakers.

Today may be Laney day... i'll be posting a NAD, NCD, NGD later :D

Looks good. You need to get a darker carpet though to set it off a bit more.

They sure do, don't think I'll bother putting the other heritage back in to compare, it wont be as good as this pair.

I would say between that and a Marshall, but not having the chance to crank it yet, that may change.

I love the Lionheart range, Laney nearly always deliver the goods.  I prefer their simpler amps like this and the single channel GH50L.

The Lionheart series have a JCM800 (2203/2204 model) preamp with a few bell/whistles, so it no surprise it's got a Marshally tone.  Any Voxyness with be the EL84s as the circuit design bears no Vox resemblence.

They look amazing!! Ide like to try the 1x12 combo.
