New Guitar, Amp and Cab day!
Got myself a VH100R again, I really missed having one of these, has 6L6's in which is what I wanted originally... sounds great, really great!
And a Laney 4x12 with Vintage 30's and G1230 70th's in an X, I've never had a fully loaded 4x12 before and I'm suprised that it doesn't actually sound like it's much louder than a 1x12...
I've currently got it at the end of my bed, my room is absolutely tiny so for a long while I'll be just hearing the top two speakers. Lol, I'm kidding myself that the bed is acting as a natural attenuator! :D

Also got a mexican strat but went to the local store today to swap it for a OLP John Petrucci... awesome, awesome guitar and not just 'for the money'. I'm very sad that the OLP brand is gone, I hope Music Man's new budget brand is as good as these! Upgraded to spretzel locking tuners too! Wonder how much that cost whoever had it before me...
Looks very pretty in person, the arm rest and the guitar in general makes it very compfortable, I wasn't sure about these at first because they sounded over hyped but I'm really pleased. :)
The top horn cut away is brilliant too, often they're too small for me to really reach up to the 21-24th frets but this... it never gets in the way and in the last picture I think you can see why! I want one of these as a 7 string... anyone fancy making me one? Lol.

Glad you're enjoying the amp Adam hope you keep this one lol. I'm gonna regret trading that amp when I join a band again :( Should post a picture of your room lol I still don't know how you and all the stuff fit into your room!
Congrats on the OLP it looks real good. Did you get the case as well? That's a great deal. Interesting trem it has on there is it any good?

Hahaha, yeah I probably should, I don't even think you could describe it as cosy and get away with it... it's just miniature, especially for a guy as big as me!
Hopefully I won't have to sell it ever, I love it, it's great, at least with the OLP... I don't think these amps like single coil guitars.
Yeah I got the case which was a nice surprise, the case is brilliant and much better than carrying a big hard case around, though if the guitar was worth £1,000+ I'd probably still take the hard case just incase!
Haven't had a chance to try the trem yet, it's blocked off but apparently it's quite good with the upgraded tuners. It looks fairly good... maybe a tremsetter or whatever could help it, no idea what I could put in there as a direct replacement If i needed to... overall though surprisingly good guitar, just needs new pickups :)
How you finding the PRS?

Haven't had that much time to play unfortunately. Nor have I had the time to try the other pickups. But I can tell you I'm really liking the neck on that guitar it's really slick feeling. Now I need to try to get better at guitar

Good score!
Upgraded to spretzel locking tuners too!
I've heard they're very tasty with mustard and sauerkraut.

does the OLP john petrucci guitar have the asymmetric neck like the real signature version?
-
Bloody hell... happy christmas!

hmm, not a bad day when you get a whole new rig to play with!
Get some blocks or crates to stand the cab on, everyone should wake up staring down the barrel of a 4x12 :)
