RIP.
I've just spent the better part of the past 4 days doing up an old 1982 Fender Fullerton '57 reissue strat that my friend gave me, not quite finished yet, is definitely one of the best Strats that I have played on, and I own a few.
He made some fine instruments!

A key figure in the sucess of Fender. RIP George!

Sad News
Time has caught up with us and we are pretty much all run out of the original guys who were involved with the great guitar companies in their 50s heyday.
Still he can go hang out with Leo Fender and Forest White once again...
Rest in Peace
