Thanks for all the help guys! and I thank Tim alot too!
The cold sweat is EXCELLENT, its not BRUTAL but it packs just the right amount of power. Not overkill, but it can get very nasty but it always remains clear. I could even strum chords on distortion. The abraxas neck I've yet to explore as much in depth, but to me it sounds very honky and has alot of spank. Its like a hotter, more clear and lively 59 with a tiny santana vibe to it.
Thanks
Rob
:D
P.S- I do hear the dimebag vibe in it that i think Eric Hellstyle was talking about. It is great for pantera though I'd assume it'd sound better for pantera through a mahogany guitar and a hotter more grainy amp.

sorry if you had a thread on this before, but what is it? it looks awesome. judging by the headstock it looks like a fender, but i've never seen one like that. killer paintjob and wood top.
also get some more updates on that abraxas when you play it more. there's not a whole lot of info on those.
-
Musikraft or warmoth build?
-
oh my....
that IS amazing, you gotta help us out here and let us know what it is!
Also, what is the guitar next to it? that's a beauty!
-
That looks great!
-
I'm not normally too much into tobacco-burst finishes, but that guitar is really very nice! Curious volume knob placement, though...
Congrats!
Roo

That looks lovely! Is it what Warmoth call a Bengal Burst?
What's the logo on the headstock, by the way?
-
thanks a bunch for the kind responses!!
It is a warmoth build, and for the question regarding the one next to it, that ones a Washburn BSG Instigator, Im not sure if theyve all been sold off, but they were a run of 50 from Boogie Street Guitars.
I explored the abraxas a bit more tday and found a nice spot on my vox solid state and my old fender princeton. Ive used it mainly for cleans since its got a more vintage voiced. I mean if anones got any abraxas questions I'll do my best to answer them since it was mentioned that theres not much about them on here.
Thanks! , Rob

It does look great. The dog looks interested too -Staffie?

thanks,
I guess I'd say shes a staffie, those are technically pitbulls right? I guess to be precise i'd call her an american staffie or pit
-
No not the same to me. A Staffie is totally different to a Pit Bull but whatever we call her she looks great from the little I can see of her.

lol i never thought about that, but the dog came first
once again i'll say,.......thanks for all the kind comments!
P.S- Lynch was the first guy I thought of when it was completed, though the sound is more Dimebag/eVh/Wylde oriented.........or Vai oriented to my ears besides the neck pup.
-
Nice, I like the quad colour burst.
If I had any talent at all I'd be tempted by a warmouth, but alas, I have none! I'll have to get Sue to build me one PDT_005

Not a huge fan of the guitar (dont really like fancy woods and superstrats in general) but I love your dogs :D
-
The top on the guitar is very tiger like!
Why does your dog have a scarf though?

lol, she doesnt wear that regularly, we were doing like a practice photography thing with the dogs. The lighting isn't very professional though.
