Title: sound city 30c mark 6

Hi,

Just been in  a music shop and seen a Sound City 30C mark6  for sale at £119


I did not get chance to have a go with it.  What can you guys tell me about them.  Is this a bargain to be had or is it a bit of turkey?

Yer I think so.  From what I read they were chinese construction I think. So not as good as some of the older ones.  At £119  im just not sure if it is a punt taking.

They seem to be 300 ish online so yea looks like a great deal. Not tried done though.

Do bear in mind that you might also be able to get an original mark 4 (like the one I have) for that kind of money.

Mark 3 and it starts to get expensive due to the Hendrix and The Who connection.

I can't say anything for the sound quality of the mark 6s.

Thanks to all you that replyed. Ather having a think about it I have decided that despite being what seem to be a good pirice it is not for me.

I saw it in PMT on regent road Salford for 119 should anyone be tempted.
