Title: Warpig clip RE-AMP CLIP ADDED
Post by: maverickf1jockey on August 03, 2009, 09:51:03 AM
myspace.co.uk/soundcityslicker (http://myspace.com/soundcityslicker)

Listen to demo 2 and say what you think.

I know it's a bit shaky in places and the tone isn't great as it is done through a Boss Micro-BR direct input.

I'm using these as something to show to prospective bands though there was no real thought of structure in the writing.

I'm thinking I might order a set of warpigs instead of miracle mans. What guitar was it in?

Any chance you can DI record it & send it over so I can try how it sounds through my amp?

It was a Maverick F1 with a Maple fretboard. Also I neglected to mention that the bridge pickup is ceramic.

I could easily do some DI for you. No problem.

BTW is it ceramic?

The bridge pickup is; which is why it clips in places where I use it as the input can't handle the output from the pickup.

This would however be perfectly fine for re-amping as I assume you would be using it through a high - gain amp.

I was surprised somewhat by how jazzy the neck pickup actually is with no signal processing.

Thanks, lovely midrange growl & thickness. I'm ordering a set for my horizon.
