http://blackmachine.net/
This does not help my GAS ;)

It's a nice looking site
Doug's webmaster has done a nice job.
I like the minimalist style - nice photography too ( I took the pix) :D
-
The guitars themselves don't grab me - but the site does look good.
And the pics are great - you getting back into glamour photography then Jonathan?
-
Hummm the site looks better know, but I miss mooooore pics and gallery section, etc...
-
Sweet looking website...
...oh wait I did that lol
FAQ's ordering, gallery etc will be added in time as and when Doug writes copy etc.

Looks great Martin - nice job as ever
-
those blackmachine are so pure.....
Need to play one ! PDT_020

Looks very nice and more importantly it mirrors the styling of Doug's guitars (minimalist).
I really should get my site sorted - theres a valve OD pedal for anyone interested.
-
I'd love to own a B2. It's a nice looking wesbite.
-
The guitars really aren't my thing, but I can't beat down the urge to want to go play one...
The whole Blackmachine thing does show the importance of good marketing, including an excellent website.
Mark.

Nice guitars but the site looks a bit bare at the minute! Simple and to the point though :)
-
Congrats Martin, looks very nice!

Crikey the use of a MSSmartTagsPreventParsing meta tag! I've not seen one of those in ages.
Source looks nice and clean.

Beautiful site and beautiful guitars! One day I aspire to create something that aesthetically pleasing and awesome to play, heh.
Very nice work from both photographer and web designer alike, well done guys!
I don't know about Andy's comment, surely this is straight up Pron photography rather than glamour?

By trade I am a graphic designer for traditional media: advertising, print, corporate I.D., illustration etc etc. The web coding I have recently taught myself which I create manually in NotePad. I have been endeavoring to create websites in Xhtml and CSS and make them fully compliant, mainly because there are so many browsers out there.
Thanks for the kind comments from everyone

You can tell, a very nice clean layout. Top Banana!

Looks good, I take it there is some footer detail to follow :)
-
sweet :)
nice work, martin
-
Very nice. :)
And not just because it's my B7 on the site! :D
-
ur b7 which i had a go on... thought it might be urs. (hi chris)
-
blackmachine's are gorgeous, teh only reason I wouldn't get one is lack of a trem :(
-
The style of photography is very reminiscent of Ran Guitars... (http://www.ranguitars.com/gallery.php)
-
Not intentionally - maybe just a quirk in how to photograph guitars with limited facilities/space
I do like the vinyl backing they use , although they should take more care with reflections from the flashlight's softbox, unless that is intentional
Obviously not a problem with sati/matt finish guitars like Doug's but always an issue with shiney ones like the one's I make
Ran do also make some nice looking axes!
-
damn....Bob over at Legra should jump in on the upgrade craze! I know he has a ton of guitars he hasn't shown off yet :)
-
just checked out Ran guitars...very nice :) Except for their desktop backgrounds...last thing I'd want to see on my comp is a bunch of hair dudes with their hairy metal guitars!
