Title: Hunter and Joe B have the same taste in amps!

+1 - they also need to stop that stupid guitar of the month 'project'. Maybe if they did they would have more time to focus on 'proper' guitars.

I do like JBs firebird although I would prefer one with two pickups.

He replaces the speakers in his cabs every year (i think), as they get so hammered by the amps!

Post by: hunter on August 15, 2009, 11:21:32 PM: Oh it is indeed the 100B (same as I have) - you can see it on the cooling fins behind the metal grille, these are for the dummy load which only comes in the 100B.

As this is a very rare model (there were approx. 100 made until 94) I assume he's gonna swap it for a 20th Anniversary one - cannot imagine someone who tours like him has an amp in his rig where there are no backups available.

I love single pickup guitars - that guitar would be WAY cool if it was in a sunburst finish like the old Firebirds and had a P90.
