Title: Purple Pigs!!!

I believe Tim only does them by special request. Which reminds me I have to send him an e-mail to thank him for making these strange creatures for me.

They're going to look great with the green, I think. I used to have a set of purple/black zebra Crawlers, but couldn't find anywhere else to fit them when I sold the guitar they were in.

Thank you. I wish I could take credit, but I was actually given the idea by Eric Hellstyle and gwEm. I just think they thought I wouldn't go through with it :) Thanks guys.

I will be swapping the speed knobs for purple strat type and adding a purple switch tip. Maybe swapping the pickup rings out as well as it comes with green ones and I may order purple rings as well, but here is a general idea :)

Post by: yellowv on August 28, 2009, 12:41:44 AM: Yeah I will lay one of the green ones on there when i get it to see how it looks, but I think I am going to agree as far as leaving the black rings to match the bridge. I may leave the black switch tip as well to match the rings, but will definately try a purple switch tip on it. As for the knobs I don't really like them so I got purple Strat style ones instead, but the speed knobs may grow on me once I have it in my hands. One thing is for sure..... The purple pigs look awesome with the green.

Some stuff came loose in the case came loose in shipping and put a nice chip on the top of the guitar and a big chunk out of the paint on the back edge, also a crack in the finish by the nut. Nothing that hurt playability, but a lot of damage for what it cost. It went back to Fed Ex and the dealer opened a claim with them. I likely could have gotten it back plus a chunk of cash, but I would have to wait a least a month or so for them to make a decision and such. I have had bad luck with this whole thing as this was actually a replacement for a guitar that Fed Ex damaged all the way back in February. So I have been dealing with this for like 7 months. This time I told the dealer I just needed a refund or the replacement ASAP. I should have the new guitar on Thursday and me and my dealer both have our fingers crossed. If it arrives damaged I may kill myself :) I told him to pack it like plutonium. At any rate it sucks about the Jackson, especially since only 5 were built like it. But the Caparison will be awesome. Here is a pic of the Cap.

I have been dealing with this for 7 months. I just want a guitar to show for the huge chunk of change my bank account has been missing since February. I have wanted the Caparison since the beginning anyways so it's not like I'm getting something I don't want. Caparison was just taking forever to get the 09's out and the Jackson just happened to pop into the mix and seeing it made me want it. Guess it wasn't meant to be. As for the Cap I am supposed to get it tommorrow and I am really hoping for the best. I'll hopefully post a new guitar day thread barring anymore tragedy.
