Check the user questions, they aren't actually questions, but more fan mail

Very cool! But I would prefer a battle worn one

yep, very tasty indeed.
its scary how much vintage plexis are going for these days, makes me weep at the thought of selling my '67 for £1600

I love the tea cosies on the power tubes.

One of my mates has the bass version and it is in similar condition as he has kept it in his studio for years. He recently had it checked over by Marshall and it is top condition and is not for sale.

don't let him have Marshall service it - apparently they 'bring it up to modern safety standards'. in other words, replace the original mains and impedance selectors and also the bulgin mains socket. this has a negative impact on the value.

Well the guy who looked at it has apparently been at Marshall for years and says that he was there when the amp was made and that everything was fine. To my knowledge the amp hasn't been over used and has been sitting in the studio for years. I used it for bass years back but most of the younger players these days either take their own amps or DI.Next time I am there I'll take a picture.

It's a linear potentiometer, for the bias adjustment.
