Greetings all.
I have just recorded my version of Santana's 'Song of the Wind'.
I always enjoyed playing this song but believe it sounds best with these new pickups.
Sustain and tone everywhere.
I plugged straight into my Roland 80x amp and then to the computer.
No eq'ing or effects other than what the roland had to offer.
You can here it @

enjoy.

Very Santana tone :D

Nice one Jeff, :D
I bet it sounds even more impressive in a 'live' situation. A very tasteful demo of a (seemingly ) rarely heard pickup round these parts. Perhaps no surprise that the Roland 80x delivers, as the Jazz fraternity / forums seem to be of the general opinion that one should either : " Buy brand 'x' expensive jazz amp - or also great is a Roland 60 / 80x " - including usage for fusion and rock/jazz.
Keep up the good work ! :)
