Guys, I'm thinking about getting a bike to commute from my house to Canary Wharf - it would cut my 1 hour 40 minutes commute to just about 40 minutes...

Any bikers around here?  TF's into his V Twins, I know...

Does someone want to point out that this is a stupid idea???  My wife hates the thought of it...

I'd be all for bikes and transport to work - if it wasn't London.

+1 too many nutters, if the lorries, buses, cars and white van men don't get you the pedestrians will. The only time I went into London on a bike I had a tw@ open a car door right in front of me, put me right off the idea.
