If it is a BK pickup you can send it in and have the cover fitted.

it is a bkp humbucker, it's just too pricey shipping it back and forth.

If it's not, you might find the polepiece spacing doesn't quite match. 

For example DiMarzio's "standard" and "F" spacing are both narrower than the BKP equivalents.
