Hmmm... not sure how to respond to this one Hunter... it does need some kinda come back...
But I'm not a footie fan... not in the slightest... so I don't really give a monkeys!!
It's about as important to me (as is the bloke's game) as it would be if you'd beaten us at tiddly-winks, pie-eating, dangerous-ironing, or whatever...
(I assume this is football?!)

Yeah it was the finals of the European Championship of women football. Guess for a final 6:2 is quite a result :O)

We'll get over it.

Nice one Martin.....
Hunter - I thought that you were Dutch now? Fully-fledged cheese-eating, clog-wearing Oranjie!

Ha, that can only come from an ignorant Brit: Geography: 6, take a seat.
Belgium is still not part of the Dutch community :-)

Hm, Ok, let's call it a draw ;)

I'm struggling with that Will - is there an opt-out?
-
hunter - you know very well i love your country!
but when it comes to international football and especially England vs Germany i must say i am not happy about your victory ;)
we will see what happens in South Africa - if you qualify that it :P

 I was wondering that as well...
EDIT: hang on, are you saying GERMANY beat our sweet girlies??!!! (possible Daily Mail headline there folks, btw) This morning, I'd forgotten where you wuz from Hunter, so I checked your profile, it sed "Brussels", so I thought, hey, that's impressive, Belgium beat our ladies at football, oh well... But the way this thread has gone is making me think I've got this wrong...

Thanks Andy.....I thought I was the only male left in the country who is not a football fan.
I remember a few years ago a door to door saleman called trying to get me to sign up for Sky TV. He went on and on about how much football and sport was available just assuming I was a fan. I told him to f*** off and that I would rather pay money not to watch football than watch it. :rip:

noiken in die koiken anyone?

Ask an Irishmen, Welshman, or a Scotsman their nationality, they will never say British.
Yet English people are always considered British, lumped in with those lousy buggers.
I prefer to make a point of it, would be happy for it to be one way or another
-
And don't play the fact that you're half Welsh Philly :P

i call myself liverpudlian. thats not in england either.
-
I join the ranks of the football hating community. Well I don't hate it but I don't watch it.
-

Well remembered! :D
But I am also happy to consider myself British. If I'm talking to a British (...Welsh, English, Scots or N. Irish!...) person, I say I'm Welsh, but if I'm talking to someone from another country I say I'm British.
(Unless they call me English, then I say I'm Welsh. :P )
-
Belgium is just like Switzerland but without the mountains....
-
I'm a geordie, we're a nationality of our own, ha ha
I have a passing interest in football and no interest whatsoever in flag-waving patriotism.
-
HTH
Completely agree - and I am a Taffy...
Well - except when it comes to beating the Germans of course....
:D
-
I live in Brussels, but my passport still says I'm a German.
-
