Title: instrumental solo idea
Post by: CJ on September 12, 2009, 05:38:21 PM
ok MDV, lets see what's wrong this time...

i recorded this song last night in about 2 hours or so. i originally just recorded it to remember the backing rhythm idea, but i ended up just throwing a few solos over it and double tracking all the rhythm.

it's more of just an idea for now, but i think it turned out better than most previous recordings.

its the top one.

I really liked the clean part.
No comments on sound because of cr@ppy speakers, or recording, because I know nothing of it :)

ha, thanks. yeah the clean parts are what i wanted to record. the solos i just put on top so it didn't get too boring.

the sound was about as best as i could get with what i have. i used my xr-1 straight into my micro cube. micro cube line out straight into my CPU's line in. all effects were done by the cube.
