Love that tolex! How does it sound?

Its amazing! Extremely versatile. There's Gain, Drive, and Envelope pots that give you a very wide range of tones. Everything from glassy cleans to Lynch like tones at the extreme gain side of things. Not a metal amp, just very punchy rock tones. Very adjustable, impossible to not find good tones in it. Makes your strings feel alive and very touch sensitive. Pedals sound clear and lush. Nice powered loop. Unbelievably loud for 50 watts. Just for fun, I patched the loop and cranked up the loop level. Even through my 2x12 cab it was abusively loud. Doesn't get ragged until you are very close to the extreme limits. Absolutely nails mid gain early 80's stuff. Must have for early VH, Great White, Def Leppard kinda tones. Punches you in the chest like a bass amp. Tube screamer in front gives it a meaner, near metal kinda tone, earlier Megadeth-ish.
Got about 7 hours on it since yesterday, I think it's a keeper.

Looks nice :)

Looks very un-Krank-ish. Really interesting concept. What exactly does Envelope do?
I would love to hear some clips of it, even bad phone movie types would be allright ...

Here's some clips from the guy who designed it. I've got a brighter tone dialed in, but you kind of get the idea:

The Envelope is kinda like a global master on the preamp, 5 is 0, anything to the right is boosted harder into the power amp, anything less than five is trimmed.
I find the best cleans with volume up a ways and the envelope back a little.
So the Gain, Drive, Envelope, and loop boost all can add OD, still trying to figure out exactly what the Drive does. It adds volume and punch, but sounds different than the Gain..
I'm going to have to record something so you can hear what the different controls do.
